Dr. Ieshea Jarmon

Ieshea Jarmon, PsyD

Founder/Clinical Director

Dr. Ieshea Jarmon is the Founder and Clinical Director of Trinity Consulting and Psychological Services, PLLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist registered by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologist (#35189). Dr. Jarmon completed her Doctorate and Master of Art in Clinical Psychology at The Texas School of Professional Psychology/ Argosy University-Dallas. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Paul Quinn College.

Dr. Jarmon has over 19 years of clinical experience utilizing evidence-based treatments with children, adolescents, and adults at all levels of care. She has provided mental health services in a variety of settings such as schools, college/universities, community-based agencies, nursing homes, and private practice settings. Dr. Jarmon has over 10 years of experience as a supervising psychologist treating members of the geriatric community who are struggling with depression, grief and loss, and end of life issues. Additionally, she has been partnered with the Department of Health and Human Services assisting individuals with mental health disabilities for over 10 years. Dr. Jarmon is currently expanding her knowledge base in nutritional health and wellness and is excited to offer additional services focused on diet, obesity, and behavior.

Dr. Jarmon’s approach to treatment is client centered and will depend greatly on the client’s needs at that time. She will discuss with you the various approaches to treatment and how to best reach your treatment goals. Her clinical interest and training have primarily been rooted in behavioral treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy for anxiety disorders, and other stress related disorders. Her ultimate goal is to help clients change their thoughts about their experiences, in hopes of changing their experience of the world around them.

For Fun

In her free time, Dr. Jarmon enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and traveling. Some of her favorite places to visit are Hawaii, Dubai, and Cabo. She enjoys cruising, dining out, and binge-watching reality TV. She is an active member of her sorority and believes in service to all mankind.

tamika johnson

Tamika Johnson, LPC

Director of Psychotherapy Services

Tamika Johnson is a licensed professional counselor and currently registered with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a Licensed Professional Counselor (#81523). She received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University of Prairie View Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Paul Quinn College. Tamika has worked in a variety of settings, ranging from school districts to private practice clinics and is incredibly passionate about working with both child and adolescent populations.

Tamika enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, while tailoring her treatment approach to meet the needs of everyone. In addition, Tamika has a special interest in trauma and co-occurring disorders including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder and others. She is trained in various evidence-based techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, while incorporating theories including psychodynamic, family systems, and attachment styles.

Tamika is strength-based in her approach and believes prior to beginning treatment, each client carries a unique set of skills and strengths to succeed in their recovery journey. Tamika works to help clients see their full potential for healing, while providing them with agency in their own treatment process. She is able to draw on her own experience with recovery to create an empathetic and relational environment to support meaningful healing.

In her free time, Tamika loves spending time with family and friends and spends as much time as possible outdoors. She also enjoys traveling, hitting the beach, reading, learning new things, and practicing yoga.

Tawaina Jarmon, LPC

Licensed Therapist

Tawaina Jarmon, L.P.C., is a graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She continued her education at Houston Baptist University where she obtained a Master of Art in Psychology in 2015. While she has worked with many populations over the last 7 years, she has found the most joy working with adolescents and children. She utilizes a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and interventions/techniques from Play Therapy, catering to the needs of the client and their caregivers.

Tawaina is a proud Houstonian! She is an active member of her community and peer group. As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, she is no stranger to community service and bringing awareness to underserving communities. While serving her community, she has facilitated a place for discussing hardships and hopes for the future. Tawaina has not only left her mark of uplifting servitude, advanced leadership skills, and healing conversations she has helped change the lives of countless families.

James Albert, LPC

Licensed Therapist

James Albert, LPC is a graduate of Argosy University at Dallas where he obtained his Masters of Arts in professional counseling. He is licensed with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a Licensed Professional Counselor . James has training and certification in (MRT) Moral Recognition Therapy, (CBI-CC) Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions Core Correctional Practices, and CBT Motivational Interviewing.

Jacquin Green, LPC-I

Therapist Intern

Jacquin Green is a licensed professional counselor intern, currently pursuing Licensure through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received a Master’s of Science from Grand Canyon University in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jacquin has worked in a variety of settings, ranging from behavioral hospitals to private practice clinics, as well as, making home visits. She is incredibly passionate about working with various populations from adolescent to geriatrics.

Jacquin enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, while tailoring her treatment approach to meet the needs of each individual. In addition, Jacquin has a special interest in behavioral issues, trauma, learning disabilities and co-occurring disorders including anxiety, depression, body dysmorphic, obsessive compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder and others. She has training in various evidence-based techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, school based interventions, rational emotive behavior therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, while incorporating theories including psychodynamic, family systems, and attachment.

Iva S Jarmon, BS

Office Manager/Billing Specialist

Iva S Jarmon received her Bachelor of Science in Bible Doctrine from Therapon Theological Seminary in 2020. She is s a licensed Real Estate Broker with I J Realty LLC and an Investment business owner. Iva is also a contracted Compliance Officer with other Real Estate Brokerages in the Houston area. In 2007 she retired from Harris County Adult Probation as a Lead Supervisor, after 25 years of service. With her knack for business and management skills, Iva joined TCPS as their Office Manager and Billing Specialist in 2022. She is passionate about ensuring that everything worth doing, is worth doing correctly.

Iva enjoys working with and helping others in all aspects, whether it’s in obtaining homeownership, business building or witnessing about the goodness of God. Her strength is in helping others recognize their strengths even more.

 

For Fun

Iva enjoys traveling and experiencing life on the beaches of the world, exploring other cultures and adventures, and trying out different eateries. She enjoys spending time in the company of family and special friends. Whether it’s on a cruise or in the air, she loves to travel! Early morning gym time is a great source of relaxation for Iva to prepare for a successful day of work or fun.
